BYD India, a subsidiary of BYD, the global No. 1 NEV (New Energy Vehicle) manufacturer, today announced the launch of the BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic, a new addition to its flagship eSUV lineup. Powered by a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery, it offers a range of 520 km(NEDC) and accelerates from 0to 100km/h in 7.3 secs. Available at an introductory price of ₹41.90 lakh (Ex-Showroom price), the variant expands accessibility to the SEALION 7 portfolio by offering customers an all-new entry point into BYD’s award-winning premium electric SUV family.
The ‘Dynamic’ reflects the variant’s balance of spirited performance, intelligent technology and everyday usability, further improving choice and value for customers. The Dynamic variant, a new expression of SEALION 7, strengthens BYD’s eSUV portfolio while retaining the brand’s signature premium EV character. It comes in four stunning colours – Atlantis Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White and Shark Grey.
With the introduction of the Dynamic, the SEALION 7 portfolio now comprises Dynamic, Premium and Performance variants, providing customers with more options to suit varying mobility needs and preferences that provide sustainable motoring, performance and technology in equal measure. The expanded lineup reinforces BYD India’s focus on making advanced electric mobility more accessible while continuing to deliver the brand’s core strengths of safety, innovation, design and technology.

With this all-new introduction, the SEALION 7 suite of products cater to diverse driving preferences with a choice of either a 71.8 kWh or 82.56 kWh Blade Battery. Engineered using BYD’s dedicated e-platform 3.0 and combining a sleek aerodynamic design inspired by BYD’sOcean Aesthetics, the BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic features all the brand’s hallmark innovations. These include the ultra-safe Blade Battery, Cell-to-Body technology, Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control, a panoramic glass roof, rotating touch screen infotainment system, and an extensive array of safety and driver assistance technologies, making every journey smarter, safer, and more enjoyable while advancing the adoption of sustainable mobility.
The introduction of the variant also aligns with BYD India’s ongoing ‘Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD’ festive offers that were rolled out on August 1, 2026. Under this offer, BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic customers can avail a complimentary 7kW home charger with installation, 10-year RSA coverage extension, and an extended warranty for 10 years on LFP LV battery or 1.5 lakh km whichever is earlier.
Since its introduction in 2025, the BYD SEALION 7 has attracted strong customer demand. With more than 4000 units currently in operation across India, this eSUV has established itself as one of the leading products in the premium EV category.
It has earned widespread recognition from the automotive industry and consumers alike, receiving several prestigious accolades for its blend of innovation, luxury, performance and technology.
